I like, like you: A healthy relationships program for secondary schools
Relationships influence us across our life span and play a crucial role in growth and development. Childhood and early adolescence present a critical opportunity for preventative education that can directly influence a young person’s trajectory into healthier relationships.
‘I like, like you’ (ILLY) is Relationships Australia Victoria’s 4-session primary prevention program for schools, focusing on mental health promotion and embedding a culture of equality and respectful relationships for year 7-10 students.
We have over 75 years’ experience providing family and relationship support across Melbourne and Victoria and offer a range of specialised services to support children, young people and their families.
We’re currently able to offer a limited number of ILLY delivery packages free of charge to secondary schools within Melbourne. Please contact us to discuss how we can support your students’ and curriculum needs.

- Program content aligns with the Victorian Government’s Respectful Relationships curriculum

Connection to curriculum
ILLY program content aligns with the Victorian Government Department of Education and Training’s Respectful Relationships Curriculum.
Sessions include a diverse range of interactive activities designed to:
- build students’ social-emotional learning (SEL)
- strengthen their resilience
- support them to explore their values and beliefs regarding power and relationships
- help them develop good communication skills and self-awareness in a safe and supervised environment.
The program runs over 4 sessions, each between 60 and 90 minutes in length, and can be tailored to align with your school’s schedule.
In order to support a whole-of-school approach, we also provide complimentary online teacher and parent information sessions.
All sessions are delivered by qualified facilitators who have experience working with young people.
